No from the Nutmeg state checking in?? Oh well this is a nice time in the year to fly but the days are getting short.Someone elese from Ct. must be on this forum?

I *used* to be from just outside New Britain, didn't fly then, but the club near Thomaston Dam (off-road riding area) was pretty active.
Come to think of it, flying off the dam would be pretty awesome, not often you get to fly below yourself.

Born and raised in Torrington, but moved to MD after we married. My first RC plane was a Cessna L19 with rudder-only escapement, powered by an .049. I remember my brother amd me driving to the old Thomaston Dam road to test glide it in the tall grass. Good memories.
