Chellie,

I wondered where the foamies were in this contest. I've only built balsa planes so far, so I'm still sticking with that. (For now ) Welcome!

Its me Again Well my first try did not go so good trying to roll up that 6mm Depron, I know that 3mm would have been better to use, but i did not have any The first foam tube got broke by my youngest son, he was holding the fuselage, as i was applying rubber bands to the fueslage to try to get it together, and then i heard a snap my son squeezed the back part of the fuselage by accident and broke it, i thought i might be able to use it, and went ahead put the fuselage in the oven to preheat it a little more, we had just made some chocolate chip cookies, the oven was cooling down, and i figured the little heat would make the foam easier to work with the rubber bands pulled foam in and folded it up that happened in the back of the oven, where i could not see it very well Oh well, make another one, this time it came out much much better here are the pics, Enjoy, Chellie

Gatorade rum punch and now weed jokes! We are seeing a whole new side of you, Chellie. The Beast is looking good. That is quite a trick, rolling that fuse without it buckling. You are to be commended. Do you think the 3mm would have the strength you need? I bet that 6mm is pretty stout. Keep up the good work, young miss. J.

Hi Everyone I made a little more progress, I cut the back section of the fuselage, heated it, and sqished it together and cut out the cockpit area, I think that was the hardest part of this build, it should be down hill from here I Hope, Enjoy the pics, Chellie

I like that geometric transition with one piece.

I need to find some sort of cowl like you have but need it to
fit on my profile. I will find something.

nice job.

Hi Chellie, Great Build so far!
Do you plan on doing the rigging wires for the wings?

This thread reads like an Abbot and Costello routine!
"Excuse me, do you have Prince Albert in a can? ....."
