Is the T-28 Trojan the Bearcat?
-Is the succesor to the Hellcat the trainer plane the Trojan? I think it looks exactly the same. I've been wondering this for a while.

The Hellcat, the Trojan, and the Bearcat are different.
F8F Bearcat, made by Grumman
The T-28 Trojan made by North American
The F6F Hellcat, also made by Grumman

Whose Hellcat is that, GH? I had the Electrifly one until a bad receiver or crystal decided to kamikaze it on me. Still miss that plane.

Nice Grasshopper. I've got some pretty detailed plans for a card model hellcat that I've resized for a 50 inch span and I've been thinking about scratch building one similar to the Corsair I did last winter from FFF. I learned a lot from that first build and I'm confident now that I could make it a good flyer...
I'll probably wait until the next building season (winter). I really want to do it right.
