Axi 2820/10 ripmax spit motor mounting help please

Helo guys i have just purchased a ripmax spitfire and a axi 2820/10 motor and the axi motor mount kit
is how do i mount the motor please,
As you can see in the picture do i have to you the black x clamp inside or outside the firewall please,
I have never built a plane before so its quite a big learning curve for me
Any help would be fantastic

Hi. I have been searching the web site's for a picture of the mounting no luck so far. Maybe this will help.
1. Mount the so called X- plate on the motor end that the wires are coming out of.
2. Mount the motor on the plane, and check the clearance to the motor Assembly
3. Then mount the prop adapter, check for prop clearance.

The motor is back mounted. You will need one of these.

Hope to start my build soon with the same motor.
I asked a similar question recently at RCG. Here are a couple of pics that were posted in response. Note the reinforcement down the sides of the box mount. I will do the same.
