Hi guys, I have a 63" almost 8lb spitfire ready to go but cannot get the motor to run. This is the setup 9s1p kokams 3 packs of 3200mah 11.1 volt, Phoenix 85hv esc and an Axi 4130/20 up front with a 15*8 3 blade prop. When I go to start the motor all I can get is a short really rough run of about 5 seconds and very slow revs. When I arm the controller I get the long beep followed by a series of short beeps, about 7 then the long beep again.I have tried all sorts of combinations of programming the esc but to no avail.
Hope somebody can help.

I have rung Castle Creations and they are going to replace the controller at no cost to me. There have been problems with this model and they are happy to send me a newer model. More power to them I reckon.

I'm putting this one together also, I use the ca hinges, they will be fine. I'm powering with turnegy 50-55 400kv, on 6s 4000 zippy packs. More than enough power, with 14x7 3 blade master airscrew prop. I use the 80 amp turnegy esc. With a bit of work, this should be a decent looking plane, I'll be modeling it after a MkXVI spitfire. I've already added the wing fillets, next chore is to mod the flaps, spitfires just have to be split flaps! Will add cockpit work, a decent looking pilot, and it's gotta have GUNS! Once I'm done, it should be a decent sport scale plane. I'll try to post some pics when I'm finnished.
