Hello All,
Getting back in to flying after many years away from glow. Going the electric route this time, and need your advice on what which brands of batteries and chargers you all prefer, and why.
I have the E-flite Cirrus SR22T 1.5mm BNF plane, and Spektrum DX 8 Gen 2 radio, and am looking for about 3200 3S batteries and charger recommendations.

There are some nice lipos and chargers from Hobby King in China that are cheaper, but shipping from China is a issue right now, they dont have enough planes to fly into the US because of the corona virus, I bought some items from china on EBay and they are all being Delayed Big Time, so Buy from the USA for now.

There's a ton of battery brands out there, and the majority of them are good quality and similar performance. My go-to brand is RoaringTop. Their warehouse is in LA and they ship Priority Mail, so they get here quickly. Their packs typically weigh less than other brands, so the 3S 3300 35C may be just right for you (and you can choose a Deans or EC3 plug):

Some well-structured reading for rainy/windy days, including two online booklets for beginners, and some handy e-tools as well.
Will save you, and us a lot of questions, and probably a crash or two. Notably the 'what went wrong?' kind of questions
Will also prevent you from burning up several controllers and/or motors and/or battery:

And pleasepleaseplease, do your RC equipment, wallet, ego, battery, controller, motor, house/garage/car a big favour ... get a watt-meter.
It will more than pay for itself, will save you at least one fried motor and one fried controller. Will also help you finding the best setup.
Keep battery-/-watt-/multi-meter wires short!

You look at charger max. charge current and max. voltage of course. But what manufactures/sellers usually don't tell you is that most chargers cannot achieve those two maxima simultaneously, because that would exceed charger max.power.
This results in your charger not achieving max.current in that case. Not a disaster or bad perse, you just have to wait longer.

A B6 or B6AC 50watt charger can handle your pack at 1C: 3.2A, 12,6volt, 40watt. The B6AC can only handle 50watt from a (battery) power supply, not from mains.
Available under several names and looks. There are 80watt versions around as well. Or quad versions, 4 chargers in one casing.

Another thing to consider, what are your plans for the future, current-, voltage- and charging power wise?
