Default PZ P-47-new retracts, how do I mount the wheels?

I feel silly having to ask this question...

I am fairly new to rc airplanes, I have a parkzone P-47 to which I want to add retracts. I bought a set of the changesun retracts and I am ready to install them. The problem is that I don't know how to mount the wheel, it seems that looking at how others have installed that there is a collar with a built in axle, but I don't remember my plane coming with this and the retracts of course didn't include this item.

Am I doing something wrong?

you need to put a 90 degree bend at the end of the wire to mount the wheel and secure it with the collar.

Bends work but are hard to make accurately since the wire is so stiff.

These work too - axles:

Make sure you file flat spots on the wire legs or they will twist.

Bending was my first thought too, but like you said...that wire is a large gauge and I wasn't sure I could bend accurately. I don't have a vice, I'll check out the axles! Thanks
