Wattflyer Members Meeting in Las Vegas
Hi Everyone 
I Was Just wondering how many people would enjoy a few days or a week in Las Vegas to meet other Wattflyer members and do some Flying, say in March to May when its not So Hot in Las Vegas, It does not have to be an expensive trip, as I am happy enough renting a Motel 6 on the out skirts of vegas and Eating at Dennys Restaurant and taking in all the Buffets in the Casinos 
Just a Thought, at least some of the Wattflyers from Middle USA and the Westerners could get together, If any Wattflyer members are in The Las Vegas area, Chime in with places to fly and clubs in the area that may be willing to Host us, Just an Idea that I would like to see come true Please post any Thoughts, Chellie

Cool idea. Rooms are really cheap. I might be able to scam a trip like that. The problem is flying commercially. Packing up a model and transporting lipos in checked baggage. TSA now asks if you've packed any lithium batteries?

I hope that would not be to bad of a drive for you from Texas I know that Airlines are a Pain when it comes to sporting and hobby items, I know I would love to meet Wattflyers from around the country and go fly with them Take care, Chellie

A dream road trip. 1189 miles ( 18 hours) on much of the old Route 66(Now I-40). Just call me Clark Griswald. LOL Would have to buy some white patent leather shoes.
I'd rent a mini-van and take a week off. Actually tempting. Or I could fly to KLAS, pick up a new PNP plane and some lipos at Hobby People in LV and just bring an rx and tx.
