Default blade 400 pitch change ???

The pitch on my blade 400 seems to change on it's own
not much but it will rise about two feet and the sound will also change
then it seems to fly that way for the rest of the battery
could the swashplate be stickingany help would be great

I would wonder more about it being in your tx settings, throttle or pitch curve maybe

since it's intermittent, I'd say it is likely binding. unhook the motor wires and run pitch changes from the radio and make sure the swash isn't "jumping" or tilting, etc.

Take a good look at your thrust bearings (part 17). If these are binding it will be hard to tell unless the rotor is spinning and putting a load on them.

Also check that the blade grips aren't binding which is what the thrust bearings are for. Unhook the linkage and tilt the blades like you're changing the pitch. Pull outward on the blade (away from the main shaft) while doing so and see if there is any grittiness or binding in the thrust bearings (make sure to grip the head block with the other hand to prevent bending/stressing the mainshaft). Check that the swash is free and the mainshaft is clean of any debris so the swash isn't getting hung up during pitch changes...
Hopefully one of these items is your culprit. Let us know...
