Default eneloop charging problems. Anyone has same problem ?

Hi there,
I have been eneloop users around my house, that is from remote control, clock, wii controller, everything.

Its a very good battery with very slow discharge rate.

I decided to make it into the flight pack,
I am now using eneloop lite (1000 mAh) and series them to make 4.8 volts.
My charger is triton, and I set the charging to nimh charging with auto charge and discharge current. Peak detection was 10mv.

After a few cycle the current that goes into the battery is not consistent.
It goes up tp 1000mah in and 850 out, but more often around 100-250 charged capacity.

Setting the charger to NiCad, also resulted same.

Is it my charger ? or has anyone else experiencing same problem ?

Thanks

Make sure your charge leads are not very long, are of adequate gage, and that you have very good connections at all junctions.

Hi,
Charge leads are not long and do you think that matters ?
the current is too small and the cable awg is more than enough, because if it isn't cable would be hot but it doesn't.

Yes it does matter. Just a few millivolts drop (readily occurs especially in the contact resistance at the connections) can create a false "end of charge" signal. Contact resistance is more apt to be a problem than too small a gauge wire but both contribute to detection errors.

Well the plug that goes into rx connected does went to another connector.
I will give it a shot then by shortening the charging lead. THanks
