I'm not an expert or anything, but this is what I've heard from others:

You may want to get a heli where you can get replacement parts for it, cause you may break it by accident. People have told me to get a chopper as long as I can get the parts for it. If there is another model that you are considering, and know you can get parts for, you MAY want to go for that.

I'd still keep asking though.

I just completed a Trex SE, with a Spectrum DX6 Radio. 2100 11.1v Li po battery all the bells and whistles digital tail servo and a Gyro that cost more than my first car all in all ran me up ward of $1200.00 USD (not sure what that translates to Yen) but it wasnt cheap.

It took me i week to assemble, and one week to connect all the electronics. I have oone last visit to my Local Hobby shop to get this thing in the air, However I am still troubleshooting.

Bottom line...
Stay away from TREX and buildable kits and stick to things like the Blade CP. More Fun for the buck!!1 Trust me!!

A week ago i bought the t-rex cpm.. but not that package. I went to my LHS and got a kit with all good electronics instead of the dodgy stuff that rcexpert has in his.

Took me 3 days to assemble + install all the electronics + tune her so she few beautifully. test flight was in the morning of the 4th day.

My conclusion = great helicopter if you buy good electronics.

Default KY- I agree

I stepped up to the plate from a Blade CP, I asked my LHS for the top of the line in Helis, leaning tward a Trex,

He puts a SE on th counter w/ Spectrum DX6, Futuba 4 in 1 Gyr0 ($175) Digital Futuba ruder servo.
2100mah 11.1v Li-po battery $200.00 battery charger, Deans connectors

Good side; Freggin thing flys great!!

Bad side, I almost went nuts trying to configure the batery charger and setting up the electronics comming from a pre flown out of the box CP.
