I'm glad you clarified that.... I had visions of some frantic non-stop bubbuild, followed by a drag race to the flying field!

The photos are nice. About the only thing I am 'on the fence' over is the wheels. I'm not sure if I like them or not.

I ended up buying both the Suk and the CAP and trying to decide which one to assemble first. Anyone out there able to compare them as to which one will be the best flyer for Pattern/IMAC type of non 3D style flying? I'm very experienced and a builder/flyer since 1972, mostly 90-120 size scale nitro but have some electric experience. Currently an old Accord 47 with 450watts on her so these two should be somewhat similar.

Or do I just get them both in the air and then decide my favorite?

She's a bute!!!
I've "dry fit" her and see'in if I can get that dumb "pull-pull" stuff and put the servo in the back or on a rod,
I mailed you your Money order yesterday and the cowl went out at noon today,,
I beefed up the cowl for those Trick land'in's your perfecting !
Bring the Cap over and I build um at the same time

Maybe we could get this thread moved on to the parkflyers or another forum, since the deal is already done.
That way we could discuss the plane without it hitting the top of the for sale forum.

I usually wait until everyone posts that they got it, and then close the thread.
Who's gonna step up with a 'build/fly' thread to keep the SU 31 alive?

The manuals kind'a tough to digest and is free of any bothersome pixs!! But if you've got some build'in Ex you should be OK, the German site I linked has some good build pixs( http://www.rc-network.de/forum/showt...t=50523&page=4)but my Germans not so good, My pooter's still down for my camera load'in (Can't upload for camera)or I'd step-up toot-sweet and do it, I'm lay'in up some Carbon fibers on it tonight to beef-up the LG and the canopy-cowl'in arch (a bit wimpy) I also need to stagger my rudder-elevator servos (I'm putt'in both back there) as the BlueBird BMS-380's are to deep to putt back-to-back (pull-pull's have 10 failure points to a rod set-up's Three!) The Turnigy SK3542-1000's a hefty piece off outie so I'll need the servo wieght back there,
I did it on my Brio with great results bubsteve

I'd be more than happy to publish a 'build/fly' thread, but since my package just shipped today, it might be awhile before that happens. I'll get back to you in about a week.

I got mine completed this evening with a minimum of drama. Only real gripe is that the covering pulled up when I went to heat-gun out some of the wrinkles. I'm a hack with covering, so that's probably half the problem at least. One of the guys in my club is a witch with that crap so I'll see if he can sort it out. Besides that, all I need to do is grab a spinner for the nose and she's ready to boogie!

setup:

HS-65HBs
Torque 2814/820
Phoenix 45a ESC
4s 2200s
12x6
AR6200 Rx
pull-pull rudder nonsense (I kinda' like it and it was easier than re-engineering the fuse)

Default Su got here

OK I get home tonight and have to delay opening the package and looking at the Su as the in-laws are over for dinner, but they leave and I go open the package, start looking over the parts and looking through the manual..., the manual,...hmm somehow I was expecting some sort of manual other than the picture on the front of the box.

Steve I am glad you found the link to the german site with those annoying pictures

If anyone else found anything resembling a manual if you have a way to copy and sent me an e copy please let me know. Will start hunting to web sites. I guess it will be a learning experience.

Uh Oh, what do we have here? A chink in the Chinese armour perhaps???

dumo01,

When I receive mine (it could be a week or more--who knows), I'd be more than happy to scan the manual and send it to you...that is -IF- I get a manual.
