I've done a rough cut of a video I took facing forward, we managed to get a couple of streamer cuts in. I'll post it in a few days.

During the day we made the first video, we actually got tangled and had to land with Richard towing me in!

(the camera is a Samsung S500, the original movie is 640x480, and looks really nice but is 10MB)

Heres some photos we took the other day too!

Yes, very FUN videos to watch, a relative rarity these days (except for other Wattflyer member's videos, of course!).
One question - even though you nailed your buddy twice, doesn't your SS give up some performance to his non-camera-weighted one, OR does the addition of the weight give your SS a little extra dog-fighting speed?
Seems like that one could go either way!

To be honest, this wasnt full on dogfighting - more choreographed - he let me win! The heavily weighted SS would struggle in a real fight!

(I am not game to throw it around hard with the camera on it as I dont trust the wing strength that much to risk the camera!)

Richard and I like taking the air-air shots, we'll go down the beach for the next lot, hopefully that looks even better.

That's the first video I've seen where the camera didn't look like it was being shaken to death and the flying side by side was really cool too...nice job...I give it 5 stars.

How do the ribbons not get caught up in the prop?

Not a ribbon, its a wire. The prop is 13 inches at the front of the plane.
