Question Escapade .61 pilot removal???

I am fairly new with RC planes, and I am thinking about getting a Escapade .61 and was wondering Would it be pretty easy to remove the ugly azz pilot without destroying the area where he's glued? has anyone done this?

Motorcurrent is proportional to voltage², proportional to Kv³, proportional to diameter⁴ and proportional to pitch¹.
Handy table
extra current with one or two cells added, simple table

Some well-structured reading and handy e-tools for rainy/windy days. Will save you, and us , a lot of questions. Notably the 'what went wrong?' kind of questions
Will also prevent you from burning up several controllers and/or motors and/or battery:
E-flight primer and tools

And please, do your RC equipment, wallet, ego, battery, controller, motor, house/garage/car a big favour ... get a watt-meter. It will more than pay for itself, will save you at least one fried motor and one fried controller. Will also help you finding the best setup.

I have the same power system on a similar plane as this weight that I have about 100 flights on with 2- 4000 4s lipos on a 16x8 GREAT.....

O.K. The main question is, Can the factory pilot be removed from the fuse fairly simple? lol.

I would cut the pilot out from underneath, remove him from the surface, then repaint or recover the part that is damaged.

If you put in a pilot more to your tastes, you probably will cover any damage.
