Default Night Flying Circuits - Painting With Flight

Hello!

Over the past few months or so I decided to try out some night flying, and produce a small series of articles and videos related to my endeavors. Hope some of you may find it useful or entertaining.

I tried to encompass the whole beginning to end - LED types, wiring, circuit design, application, flight, and video/photo examples. Hope you enjoy!

Take care, all!

At Western States Electric fly I worked all afternoon getting this wing flying . Then had to change motors to fly it. It was simply done with l.e.d.s . A red line on the leading edge and a straight blue line on the bottom. http://www.wattflyer.com/forums/show...ostcount=12159

Hi Hank, they are very easy to do if you remember a few points.
Firstly expose for the lights in the background, in this case it was 30 seconds F7.1 using a Canon 40D tripod mounted with remotely operated shutter. You also need to fly about first to see when you go out of the frame & remember those points.

have you offered these on-line printed on a hi-res printer and poster sized? i'll bet you'd sell quite a few.
