Default Electric Setup for a 24" Wingspan Plane

Hi all,
I wonder if you could help. Could anyone recommend a electric setup for a small balsa wood 24" wingspan plane?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Paul.

Check Heads up RC and look at about a 300 sized motor

It would help if you gave more details. For instance the power system required if the model is a lightweight balsa stick and tissue type model that flies as little more than a walking pace will be very different to the power system required if the model is a racer that does 100+mph, even though both models might have the same wing span.

Estimated weight and wing area would be helpful, plus what type of flying the model is intended for (aerobatics, 3D, trainer, general sports flying, racer etc).. A photo of the model even better.

Grayson Hobby also has combo sets, great prices on the smaller ones like you are looking for.

Assuming this is just a basic, average-speed parkflyer, this motor is pretty popular for 2S operation and a 5-6" prop.

Of course, depending on the plane you might need something totally different

Check out www.motocalc.com, or another one of those computer software programs for electric power.

This program is free for 30 days, then $39.00.
