3,250 feet of pavement.
There is also grass along side I plan on mowing for use by the planes that want/need it.

Cool! I have a Hawker Hurricane I never get to fly because it needs to fly off blacktop or concrete.

It'll be close but I think I can horse it off the ground in time.

That may be why you thought it was 3-1/2 hours because the flyin is in Holdenville. So be sure you come to Holdenville.

The dumpster will work. The last time I flew combat with James and Brett, there weren't any pieces left that were big enough to glue back together.

Default Hurt and need some serious help!

Well I had an accident tonight. Walking out to the car I had my legs collapse and I fell. My right foot folded over under me I lay on the ground for a good 10 minutes before I could even try to get up.
Long story short it looks like my ankle is broken. So needless to say I cannot drive for a while. So going to meet with possible donors is out of the question!

I desperately need people to step up and help out. We still need to contact sponsors and donors for the event.
I hate to ask this but I am in intense pain and need the help badly.

Holy crap, that's terrible! Take care of yourself, first and foremost.

Get used to sitting down a lot.

Wes, if you have not been yet, you must get to a doctor ASAP. I have had the same thing happen to me and it was a very badly sprained ankle and I wore a cast for six weeks, but getting there quickly kept me from needing surgery to tighten up the tendons.

So go to the Doc.

Wes, I'm really sorry to hear bout this. Make sure and do as Jim says and have it looked at ASAP. Then get some rest and stay off of it.

Too bad it was not caught on video... I might have won $10,000 from AFV!
I have a plastic boot kind of thing on there now to keep it stable. Seems to be helping.
Wish I had not fallen but that happens more and more these days.

Stinkin ms...

Default glider/sailplane events?

Are enough people going to be coming to the event to make some glider/sailplane events worth while?

Speaking of events....
What would YOU want to have? Or last planning meeting is coming up on the 15th and I want to be sure we have what people want.

Hey Wes,

I assume there is plenty of room and we should bring our EZ ups?

Yes plenty of room and I encourage all who have them to bring them. As well as tables etc.
By the way the 1st of many front page articles on the fly in came out today in the local paper.

Is there power provided for chargers or do we just use our car battery?
