Default Servo Arm - HiTec 65MG

Hi, I have used the Hitec 65MG servos in one of my models but I need to get more control surface movement so I am looking for a larger servo arm.

I have tried a number of aftermarket servo arms but the sizes are either too small or too large.

Has anyone found suitable servo arms for this servo, it seems the metal gearing has a larger than normal output shaft.

Thanks

Andy

That uses what HiTec calls the B1 arms.
Have you tried these Dubro?

Be carefull, using longer servo arms results in substantially less force (reverse crowbar effect)
and easier stripping of gear train.
Check that the geometry is correct, as use of excessive EPA does not help either.
In need, use appropriate Hitec horn with CF or Alloy extension:

. Servo - FAQ - Throw, 100% Tx setting is best, 125% is mechanically poor

. Servo - Horn Arm Spline Count and Inter Brand Compatibility refer HS-65 Horns & charta.

. Servo - Horn Arm Extension - DIY Alloy, FRP, CF & Nylon

Meaning is clear but the text is not quite true; the torgue is not changed--it is a constant for any particular servo. However, the force exerted by the arm is lower, the longer the arm, the less the force exerted at it's end.
