You are a brave man to try to fly it in that room. It does look sturdy. I have one of the older models and they flew quite nice. Perhaps I need one of these to fly in my yard at night. Hmmmm.
You are welcome Jim and that is out of character for me to fly in such a crazy place. I am glad that I could do a durability test for the community though
Check out this flight in a much more suitable location:
Check out the local schools with gyms. Perhaps in exchange for a few demo flights, they would let you fly there. Don't forget the private schools either.
I almost lost a expensive light flyer when a gust of wind took it. It got so far away I could not tell which way it was headed so I let it cross a highway and some railroad tracks and pointed it down and pulled the throttle. Then I went to look for it. It landed about half a mile away as the RC flies and received not damage. With no power it would just drop the nose and then when it got a bit of speed, it would go nose up until it stalled again. Must has landed itself and the homeowner found it. It helps that I live in the country and know all the neighbors.
Being built of carbon fiber rods and ripstop nylon helped with the no damage.
Nice video, as usual, GB. Is your location near an airport because I thought I heard an airplane pass overhead. Either that or that Vapor really has a great sound.
