Default Problem With UAV

I recently bought a Predator UAv (the $99 one) and it has a problem. The second i plug the battery the propellar starts spinning slowly and it slows down until it stop( this is with no throttle) Then the battery gets really hot and everything starts to smell. Is there a short circuit or something???
