Dang, look what i found, a 20+ HP e motor, gee, one could build a tube and cloth E power Sport plane with that and fly in it

We're getting close to having viable e-powered ultralights.

They're flying PPG's (powered paragliders) on motors with 15-20 hp.

It's a matter of battery power/weight.

Self proclaimed dictator of the Flite Test fan club.

I think ultralights are possible now, it's just a matter of doing it. A 20 HP gas motor is far bigger than that!
