Wink

Beware of pins

But seriously, I slept of an inflatable bed once and woke up laying on the floor. Not sure I'd trust an inflatable airplane.

Subcontract it out to the Clown who does the party animals. I'll be he could whip one up in two, maybe three minutes!

This airbag system doesn't do any good, if you hit before it does....

At least he's wearing a helmet.

I like this concept a lot. Imagine being able to show up on the field with a suitcase, unpack a doesen planes form it, inflate, and fly, then back they go in the suitcase again. It makes a lot of sense to try something like this out in RC land. I'm going to give it a try.

maybe this link will get you started with elevons and a pusher motor, maybe it can be done. its worth a try anyway just velcro the battery, receiver and servos on it, Hobby king has some great strong velcro, you might be able to make a elevon and motor mount assy with balsa, and velcro it on. just my 2 cents worth

Hmmm Ok, how will i do this, Let me count the ways I think a lite weight stick from the front to back on the bottom and a stick for the wing brace, and have velcro on the plane, the back stick of the plane will hold the motor and the wing brace stick can also hold the elevons at the trailing edge of the blow up wing, Hmmm that Might work

Go Chellie Go.

You could easily glue a hard balsa trailing edge on the wing for elevons, and the 'stick' frame idea is a gem. Heck you could wrap the frame with grey duct tape along the bottom of the fuse, and it would be permanent!

Subscribed, I gotta see this.

I'd probably start by giving it some balast, and seeing how it test glides first. Good luck with it, it looks like fun.

Chellie,

+

= ???

That is the Vector Power Unit Generation II, a 2 axis thrust vector pusher prop unit..
I cant see a more logical approach, I'd love to get my hands on one of those.

Thats neet Thank you for Sharing, I like that set up I will be getting around to putting a e power system on that blow up jet, always something to do, we had a good storm here today, winds gusting up to 70 MPH, the wind tore off the roll roofing on my patio I got to call the ins. comp. tomorrow and get the roof put back on. always something that keeps me away from my hobbies thank goodness i did not have anymore damage than that, Also, the electricity went out for 1/2 a day, i thought it might be off longer due to the storm, and power lines being down, Sooooo i took out my 3500 Watt, 7000 Max Watt 12 VDC to 115 VAC inverter, and hooked up 4 big car batteries to it in Parallel, Gee i had 3150 CCA @12 VDC to my inverter, I ran the refrig. every 1/2 hr for 15 min, to keep things from going bad, i wanted to make sure the food does not go bad, I thought I might be with out power for a day or two, the way this storm was, Take care, Chellie
