You can insert a bent aircraft plywood "bow" in the indent for the canopy frame
2 layers of 1/64 ply bent into the frame area. Glue the first in with RC56 canopy glue. then glue the second in with yellow wood glue.
Make patterns from paper to ensure a good fit... so you don't waste plywood.
Weight added is very small. If you think your canopy is weak, go ahead and do it.
One sheet (12 in X 24 in) of this plywood will come in handy for other projects too.
