D.L. Engineering Design Plans
#1

Hi. I am Darius from D.L. Engineering (www.dle-tech.info). I would like to give a brief introduction of D.L. Engineering to the community. DLE has a great enthusiasm about flight in model aviation and committed in building model aviation from scratch. DLE has designed and tested a variety of prototypes which are constructed each to serve a different particular purpose and mission.
I would also like to introduce the Design Plans which are provided by D.L. Engineering. Some Design Plans are available for free in order to share the passion and experience of model aviation with the community. Some have a price on them to support the website operational cost and of course for the timeless development of the Design Plans.
Here are some examples of the model: (http://dle-tech.info/design-plans/)

Ya that black diamond is nice. Watched the video of the sport trained had to go back and pause it at the 50 sec. mark. Looked like in the video you tossed it up while a bunch of heli's where flying. Saw that it was a gaggle of dragon fly's. LOL

Hi gramps2361. Thanks for your thought. What nice is the original design of the U.S UCAV X-47B. It is a remarkable design. The original design does not has winglets (vertical stabilizer at wings' tips), I have tried to fly the black diamond, made from paper glider, and it does not fly stable. Therefore I decided to design the black diamond with vertical stabilizers at wings' tips.

LOL indeed. That day when I flew the sport trainer, it was going to rain; and the presence of an army of dragonfly shows the sign
. Sometimes the dragonflies flew past the video camera and the camera adjusts autofocus on the dragonflies; ruining the quality of the flying model.
Speaking of dragonfly, I am going on a new project to design model with wings sort of similar to dragonfly. Like a Bi-plane with large wing surface area and high lift to carry FPV gears and complete autopilot module. The FPV camera should be mounted on the top of the cockpit, and another HD camera (for HD recording, GoPro cam) attached to the belly of the model; probably with a pan and tilt mechanism. The draft design looks something like this:

I hope this design is also efficient for long period flying

Few days ago, the download link of the Free Plans experienced some minor technical issue. I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
However, the system has been restored normally now. Please feel free to try. Cheers!
