Default New Sensei

Haven't flown yet due to weather. Anyone have any problems with the Sensei. Is the prop okay? Looking for it to fly slow.

Over here in the UK the Sensei is called the Discovery, but it's the same plane. it flies well. The prop is ok as it is, if anything it could do with a bit more power to get it into the air when flying off grass but once in the air it's fine. It flies nice and slow once you get it throttled back in a cruise.
The motor is a bit of a weak point, my flying buddy went through two motors and both failed due to magnets coming loose but other than that it's a nice enough trainer.

Hi Jpeggy!

The Sensei is a great airplane that is covered somewhere in another thread on this site but somehow I can not get the search function to find it. There is also an active tread on another forum that has a ton of information. You may want to take a look at this thread: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1492017

You did not state what your RC experience is but good flying with your Sensei - I think it is a great plane.

Hey j,
My Sensei is one of my favorites. Mine is all stock except I went to 3" tires for our clubs' grass field, made a plastic shroud to cover the drop bay servo/linkage, & most importantly, do yourself a favor & get an APC 10 X 6E prop. You will see a marked improvement with the xtra torque on takeoff & cruising. I use 2200mah 3S batts & once airborne, cruising along at half-throttle, I get 15-17min in the air. The Sensei is also very good at gliding if you want to practice deadstick landings. It is one of the best "relax mode" planes you can have.....I don't leave home without it. Good luck....
