Thumbs up Hyperion Yak54

Hi all, I have just got the Hyperion Yak54 going. Powered by a Hyperion 4025/10 and a 5s1p 4200 Lipo pack with a castle creations 80 amp esc. It is scary I have not flown at full throttle yet but even without that it goes vertical until it is to small to see. Very stable and forgiving and slows down nicely to land. The finish on the model is fantastic and a mate and I put it together in an afternoon. Does anyone else have one of these beauties or intentions of getting one. I ordered mine from Japan on a Sunday night and it here in the Australian bush the next Friday morning.

Oh yeah I have one now also!

I am putting it together this weekend, and look forward to the same ballistic performance.

Very sweeeeet airplane for sure. I love the little wheel skirts (can't call them pants!)

Electricity... It's not just for light bulbs anymore.

Are the rudder and elevator servos externally mounted?

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways totally worn out shouting, Holy Crap... what a ride.

I like the spinner!

I have been flying one for 2-3 months now and its the best model I have ever flown.

Mine is powered with an AXi 41 series motor and 5s Tanic packs on a 14x7 prop.
